Pixel Art
Pixel Art is when an artist creates a image pixel by pixel. Every 'dot' is chosen specifically based on location and color, grouping etc. The above banner is an example of pixel art and is a work in progress designed for this site.
Nothing here is an edit, or splicing of any one else's material in any way shape or form, and each one started as a blank file, with a new or pre-existing custom color palette. In some cases the work is inspired or influenced by other media, but is always a unique creation. Jon currently consider himself a novice pixel artist.
Each title is a link to that respective page.

Icons
Icons can be used for many different things. Every visual display 'button' or tiny image you see is essentially an icon. Jon Bon generally focuses on the creation of pixel icons used for the representation of objects of functions in a video game. Primarily focusing on weapons and equipment, objects and environment, Jon Bon uses icons to practice his skills and try new techniques and ideas.
Sprites
Sprites are much like icons but are generally bigger, and normally animated to some degree. Sprites also include character, and interact-able environments, like fountains, landslides, animated flowers, etc.
